Three unexpected picks in Peter Schrager's mock 2.0 top 10
NFL Network's Peter Schrager released his second 2022 mock draft Tuesday, and he spurned conventional wisdom at multiple spots early in the draft. He cites intel he has gathered from teams for these decisions, but they include:
Travon Walker over Aidan Hutchinson at No. 1 to the Jaguars
Charles Cross over Evan Neal at No. 5 to the Giants
Jameson Williams over Garrett Wilson at No. 10 to the Jets
The also-rans don't last long: He has Hutchinson going No. 2 to the Lions, Neal going No. 8 to the Falcons as the clear best-available prospect at that spot, and Wilson going right after Williams at 11 to the Commanders.
