In recognition of their achievements so far this year, Little Mix were awarded the prestigious Ultimate Girl Group by international magazine Cosmopolitan.
Since the 1960’s, the Cosmopolitan awards have recognized women and their yearly contributions/achievements.
This year, Little Mix have received even more critical acclaim for their music than before.
Not only did they have a majorly successful debut single, but even set/broke two records overseas in the (sometimes) harsh U.S. music market.
While they had to scrap an album and start from scratch due to insecurity of the sound and feeling they could do better, the wait literally paid off for them.
They were able to create a multi-dimensional album with sounds that incorporate new-wave, dance-pop, r&b, and doo-wop.
Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards and Jade Thrilwall also dazzled the red carpet at the Ultimate Music Awards wearing black and white ensembles that reflected off each other beautifully. From Perrie’s sheer goddess look to Leigh-Anne’s daring sparkly half bottom sheer extravaganza, the girls killed it!
Let’s not forget the girls had a heavily busy promotional stint in Japan last week (minus Jesy due to a severe ear infection) and are still keeping it strong with high-fashion looks.
Don’t forget to congratulate the girls on Twitter @LittleMix for their outstanding contributions and achievements (so far)! Make sure you tag us @CelebMix as well! x
